Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ was a Jewish rabbi. His life streched from 4 BC -33 AD. He preached kindness ans love towards others and even his enemies. Some of the Jewish community liked Jesus and others thought he was the Messiah. The Jewish leaders where upset because they did not belive that Jesus was the Messiah, and the romans felt that they where being threatened by Jesus and his power. The Roman leader Pontius had Jesus arrested for treason, he had claimed that Jesus said he was the king of the Jews. He was able to be arrested on the accounts that he was the king of the Jews, because the Roman Empire did not allow kings inside the empire. Then Jesus was put to death by Pontius. Even though Jesus was put to death his diciples continued to spread his teachings witch started Christianity.
